Help Build Phase 2 of PlaygroundStars

Help us build the future of community-driven youth sports funding.

PlaygroundStars is building more than a map — we’re building a connected ecosystem for community youth sports.

Phase 1 focuses on visibility and discovery. Phase 2 is about giving communities better ways to directly support and fund the local organizations behind the youth sports experience.

Why Build Phase 2?

Visibility is just the beginning. Phase 2 will provide.

  1. FREE crowdfunding for nonprofits youth sports organizations. Always.
  2. An ecosystem that helps families discover opportunities beyond their initial search.
  3. Designed to keep funding, pride, and engagement local.
  4. Phase 1 helps you find it. Phase 2 helps you fund it.

Why We Started With The Map

As we began building PlaygroundStars, we realized something important: before organizations can receive support, they first need visibility and connection within their communities.

Families can’t support opportunities they can’t find.

That’s why PlaygroundStars started by building a free nationwide youth sports directory designed to help every organization be seen — regardless of size, budget, or location.

Phase 1 is about creating visibility, discovery, and connection across local youth sports communities nationwide. Now, that growing map becomes the foundation we can build from.

Community Support Should Stay Local

Local youth sports organizations are often supported by the same communities they serve — parents, families, alumni, neighbors, coaches, and volunteers.

Phase 2 of PlaygroundStars is focused on building community-powered crowdfunding tools that help local organizations raise support directly from the people who care about them most.

Our vision is to help communities not only discover youth sports opportunities, but eventually support and strengthen them through one connected ecosystem built around local pride, participation, and long-term sustainability.

EVERY PLAYGROUND DESERVES A PLACE IN THE ARENA

In every community, there are organizations shaping kids quietly. Small nonprofits. School teams. Volunteer-run leagues. Local programs built by coaches, parents, and community leaders who care deeply about the youth sports experience. Some organizations are well known. Others are not. But communities are strongest when every program has the opportunity to be seen, supported, and connected.

PlaygroundStars begins by building visibility through the map. Phase 2 is about helping communities turn that visibility into meaningful support through community-powered funding and deeper local engagement.

Our goal is simple: help communities build stronger local youth sports experiences while giving every Playground the visibility, support, and connection needed to Protect their Playground for generations to come.
