We believe the future of youth sports starts locally — with stronger connections between families, organizations, alumni, supporters, and the communities they represent.
That’s why PlaygroundStars begins with the map: a free nationwide youth sports directory designed to help every organization be seen, regardless of size, budget, or location.
From there, we’re building toward something bigger — a connected ecosystem where communities can not only discover local youth sports opportunities, but also support, fund, and strengthen them.

Based on data provided by the Aspen Institute’s Project Play division, we have identified 4 areas of need our platform will address to begin to turn the tides on this systemic issue.
Our first phase focuses on visibility and equity. Fixing the inequity in youth sports will require the collective, but we believe meaningful change begins when every community has equal access to discovery, connection, and opportunity.
