YMCA Camp Thunderbird provides youth with outdoor adventures and camp experiences designed to build confidence, independence, and lifelong friendships. As part of the YMCA of Greater Richmond, Camp Thunderbird offers a variety of programs that encourage kids to stay active, explore nature, and develop teamwork and leadership skills in a safe and supportive environment. Through activities such as swimming, sports, outdoor education, and group experiences, the camp creates memorable opportunities for youth to grow both personally and socially while enjoying the spirit of summer camp and community connection.
