Putting your Community on the Map

Making it easier to find, support, and strengthen youth sports programs.

Youth Sports should uplift the community, not just the athlete. PlaygroundStars is building a better starting point, helping communities find, support, and take pride in their local youth sports opportunities.

It starts by putting community sports back on the map.

Enter PlaygroundStars

PlaygroundStars is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit building a community first foundation for youth sports. We are starting by creating a nationwide directory designed to level the playing field and showcase all local youth sports programs in one place, ensuring every community based organization can be seen and supported, regardless of size or marketing budget.

Across the youth sports landscape, visibility often reflects resources rather than impact. PlaygroundStars provides a platform that includes programs of all types and sizes, offering a more balanced and equitable framework for discovery. By giving every organization a fair presence, we help create a youth sports experience that reflects the full strength of a community, not just the programs with the largest budgets.

Our first phase focuses on equity. While inequity in youth sports will not be solved by one person or organization, we believe meaningful change starts with access and visibility. Our contribution to this systemic issue is a fair and balanced nationwide directory that gives every youth sports organization a level playing field, regardless of size or marketing budget.

By showcasing all community based programs in one place, we create a framework for great inclusion and transparency. When families can see the full landscape of youth sports opportunities in their community, the experience becomes more equitable from the start. This is the foundation for a youth sports system that works for everyone.
