PlaygroundStars is an interactive crowdfunding platform designed to help community-based youth sports organizations raise money for equipment, league fees, and other essentials. Many local youth sports organizations struggle with funding, forcing families to pay high costs or kids to miss out on playing altogether. Revenue in youth sports is rising, but participation is dropping. Our platform helps communities take control of their own sports funding and keep the fun and resources where they belong—in their backyard.

Organizations like Parks & Rec departments, schools, and community focused non-profits can create fundraising campaigns on PlaygroundStars, connect with donors, and track their progress. Meanwhile, parents and supporters can use our directory to find and fund local sports programs. Think of it as DonorsChoose for Youth Sports.

Any Parks & Rec program, public school, or nonprofit focused on community-based sports can start a campaign to raise funds.

Funds can go toward things like equipment, uniforms, field rentals, league fees, improved technology, improving facilities, and any other investments that will go towards improving the local youth sports experience.

Organizations create a campaign, set a funding goal, and share their story. Donors can contribute and stay engaged through our gamified giving experience, making the process fun and interactive.

Transparency is key! Campaign creators provide detailed descriptions of how funds will be used, and donors receive updates on progress and impact.

No other crowdfunding platform is dedicated exclusively to community-based youth sports experience. PlaygroundStars combines crowdfunding, a sports directory, and gamification into one platform designed to keep youth sports local and accessible.

You can back our Kickstarter, spread the word, and connect with local organizations that might benefit from our platform. Every contribution helps us build a stronger, more inclusive youth sports community.

Your support will help us develop the crowdfunding and directory features, enhance our gamified donor experience, and expand to more communities across the country, all with the expertise of a reputable design agency that has been building platforms for over 20 years.

Once we reach our goal, there will be a four month build to create the platform. We expect to roll out the first version later this year. Kickstarter backers will get exclusive early access and updates on our progress.

If we don’t reach our full goal, we’ll still work toward launching the platform, but at a slower pace. Your support helps us build faster and with more features from the start.
