Bio

Andrew Luck is one of the most accomplished quarterbacks ever born in Washington, D.C. The son of former NFL quarterback and sports executive Oliver Luck, Andrew's journey took him from Washington, D.C. to Europe, where he spent part of his childhood living in London and Frankfurt before eventually starring at Stratford High School in Texas. A standout student-athlete, Luck graduated as co-valedictorian of his class and went on to play at Stanford University, where he transformed the football program into a national powerhouse. He earned numerous national awards, finished as a two-time Heisman Trophy runner-up, became Stanford's all-time leader in several passing categories, and was later inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.nnSelected first overall in the 2012 NFL Draft, Luck quickly became one of the NFL's brightest stars, leading the Indianapolis Colts from a 2–14 record to the playoffs in his rookie season while setting league rookie passing records. A four-time Pro Bowler and 2018 NFL Comeback Player of the Year, he was known as much for his intelligence, leadership, and sportsmanship as he was for his talent on the field. In a rare and courageous decision, Luck retired at age 29 while still in his prime, choosing his long-term health and family over continued football success. Today, he continues to impact the game as a leader and educator, serving as General Manager of Stanford Football while helping shape the next generation of student-athletes.
