About this organization
DC Inner City Excellence (DC-ICE) is a skating-based youth development program founded in 2002 that uses figure skating to inspire growth in body, mind, and spirit. Rooted in the principles of Olympism, DC-ICE brings together Olympic-caliber athletes, coaches, and community leaders to provide year-round instruction, mentorship, and programming for youth across Washington, D.C. Through its programs, participants build confidence, discipline, and life skills while developing their abilities on the ice in a supportive and inclusive environment.
