About this organization
Metroball Youth Outreach has been serving youth in Washington, D.C. since 2000 through basketball programs that combine athletic development, mentorship, and life skills training. Through after-school clinics, AAU travel teams, and its signature summer league, the New York Avenue Classic, participants build skills, confidence, and discipline while engaging in positive, team-based experiences. Metroball Youth Outreach is committed to using basketball as a tool to reduce violence, create opportunity, and help young people succeed both on and off the court.
