Since opening in 1994, the studio has served a diverse community across Washington, D.C. and Takoma Park, offering classes for children, teens, and adults while helping students build technique, confidence, and creativity. Deeply rooted in cultural preservation, Knock On Wood Tap Studio is committed to honoring and promoting the uniquely Black American tradition of tap dance, ensuring its history and artistry continue to thrive for future generations.
