Don Money was one of the most respected infielders of his era and a standout athlete to come out of Washington, D.C. Born in 1947, Money built a long and successful Major League Baseball career that spanned 16 seasons, most notably with the Milwaukee Brewers. Known for his consistency, versatility, and leadership, he became a four-time MLB All-Star and earned a reputation as one of the most reliable third basemen in baseball during the 1970s and early 1980s. Before becoming a professional star, Money attended Spencer High School in D.C., where he developed the talent and work ethic that would eventually carry him to the major leagues.
