Jon Morris

Jon Morris was one of the most accomplished football players ever to come out of Washington, D.C., building a career defined by versatility, leadership, and longevity. A standout at Gonzaga College High School, Morris excelled in football, basketball, and baseball, earning recognition as the area's Outstanding Athlete of the Year in 1960. He led Gonzaga to a city football championship while also earning All-Met honors and excelling on the basketball court and baseball diamond. His success across multiple sports reflected the well-rounded athletic development that was once a hallmark of youth sports in Washington, D.C.
