Kevyn Adams

Kevyn Adams is one of the few National Hockey League players ever born in Washington, D.C., and his career is a testament to perseverance, leadership, and adaptability. Although he grew up in western New York, Adams' roots trace back to the nation's capital, making him part of a small group of D.C.-born athletes to reach the highest level of hockey. After starring collegiately at Miami University, where he developed into one of the top players in the program, Adams was selected in the first round of the 1993 NHL Draft.
